Magic Harvest in the City of Onkaparinga

Sustainability

Did you catch up with the film Magic Harvest at the Adelaide Film Festival? Adelaide writer and gardener Lolo Houbein wrote One Magic Square, showing how a square metre of land can be enough to grow a food garden. The book inspired a local project in the City of Onkaparinga where the ideas were put into practice by residents. The film follows what happened from start to finish and celebrates the simple but powerful idea that we can grow our own food at home, and that it helps if we know others are doing it too.
