The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is promoting sustainable gardens and landscapes through the 2018 Sustainable Garden Awards. Events associated with the awards have included workshops and tours. On Sunday 7 October 2018, Sustainable Communities was present at the St Peters Banquet Room where 4 mini-workshops were presented on sustainable and pest-free gardens. Thanks to the City of NPSP for this focus on gardens, a topic that interests so many people.
It is not too late to enter for the awards – nominations close on 19 October 2018.
The City of NPSP has useful information and resources for residents such as brochures on composting, No Junk Mail stickers (available at the council offices) and an online recycling guide.
