July update from the Co-ordinating Committee
- In July we welcomed our new committee member Anne Bunning. Anne has had long involvement in environmental and community development issues both in Australia and overseas.
- SCSA is continuing with development workshops for community group facilitators. The north-east group of facilitators met on July 27 and the south-west group will meet one evening in August. Members’ meetings will follow and in due course there will be a Fleurieu region meeting.
- Our statement of aims is being brought up to date, and a revised draft will be considered again at the next committee meeting.
- The continued success of the One Planet Market is very satisfying. Market organiser, Eleanor, is arranging for each market day to include skills demonstrations in the tent.
