Information desk volunteer

One Planet Market

Time commitment: Every third Saturday in the month, approximately 2 hours Location: Payneham Community Centre, 374 Payneham Road, Payneham 5070 Description of the role: Greet people and invite them to the market, Payneham Repair Café and free community workshops.

Volunteers need to set up the Information desk and display brochures. Maintain any necessary records, answer questions the customers have, and take memberships and individual stall fees. We currently have volunteers at the desk, and we need new people to add to the team. Time commitment is approximately two hours per month on a shared roster.

_One Planet Market is held on the third Saturday of the month from 9 am to 12 pm, the market with its workshops and Repair Cafe are projects of Sustainable Communities SA and entirely run by volunteers. Our aim is to foster a strong sense of community and to promote sustainability and the local economy in a safe and inclusive environment. _
