Make Your Own Fermented Foods & Drinks

Make Your Own Fermented Foods & Drinks is the first of a series of 4 free workshops organised by Sustainable Communities SA Inc., supported by funding from the City of Marion Community Grants Program.

Come and learn how to transform simple seasonal ingredients into delicious, nutrients-rich fermented foods and drinks. We will discuss the difference between wild and controlled fermentation, the basic tools and methods, and how to incorporate fermented foods into your daily diet. By the end of the workshop, you will be set up to brew your own water kefir and confident to make home-made vinegar and sauerkraut.

The presenter will be Silvia Volontà. Light refreshments provided.

Please register online to secure your place.

Workshops are currently open to residents of the City of Marion. If you need to cancel please contact the organiser as soon as possible. Participants who no-show and do not cancel within 24 hours may be ineligible to attend other workshops. If you have any questions please contact Dani Austin dani.a.austin@gmail.com, 0484 853 431.
